Maggie Moo's: More Mix-in Creations!

We are really seeing more of ice cream parlours these days eh? From globalized Haagen Dazs to local favourites Blic, we are really getting spoilt for choices! At the basement of 313@Somerset, Maggie Moo's is one of the latest options available!

A quick search on google showed that its actually brought in by the same forks behind Marble Slab, which kind of surprised me because both had rather similar concept and offerings, with Maggie Moo's selection being more kiddy and sweet-sounding with flavours like Cotton Candy, Pink Bubble Gum and Yellow Marshmallow.

Nonetheless, I still opted for a more familiar flavour with single mix-in of flaky Graham Crackers. A personal benchmark to rank mix-in parlours!

Apple Strudel with Teddy Graham, Large ($8.90)

The ice cream tends to melt quite fast, forcing us to finish it rather hastily. For me, it was overly milky and sweetened, not much hint of apple within. Maybe other flavours will fair better? Let me know if you happened to have a good one, for now I will still stick to Marble Slab!

I tried their ice-cream before and i didn't like it at all. The flavors tasted too artificial and overly sweet. :(
