Its a long weekend for all with August 9th falling on a Monday! If you can wake up early enough, why not celebrate the joyeous occasion with a breakfast buffet? (I know I know.. that's just an excuse to feast!)

Clearing away the service counter, Delifrance offers a mini buffet spread with close to 20 types of bread and pastries to choose from. In fact, what you see in the poster is exactly what you get!

Loving Delifrance's chicken pie since young for its buttery, flaky crust, I naturally went for its Croissant, Curry Chicken Puff and Tuna Puff first! Served in mini sizes, I'm not quite sure if they could be found on the regular menu, but good that it didn't stuff me full quickly!

Besides savoury puffs, sweet ones like Madeleine and Cup Cake were also available in plain and chocolate flavours. Not forgetting the Danish Rolls!
Their signature Baguette was there as well, with an array of butter, peanut butter and kaya spread to go with!

The hot selections included Baked Tomato with Cheese as well as boiled sausages and ham. I actually quite liked the juicy halved tomato with its cheesy topping, while the processed meat were really just your regular supermarket stuffs.

Canned or fresh, I always have a soft spot for Baked Beans, alongside my staple Scrambled Eggs. Orange juices and milk (there were cereals too!)were free flow with a choice of a cup of coffee/tea.
Priced affordably at $9.90++, the buffet spread is a good try especially if you are a long-time fan of Delifrance's bakery. However, one thing I noticed was that turnover rate of items was rather slow, so you might want to go early for its first fresh batch, or risk eating cold ones left in the open. Happy National Day!

Buffet Timing: 8:30am - 10:30am
Served on weekends and public holidays only
Note: Call your favourite outlet to check if they are participating, the list has grown as compared to those shown in poster!

Loving Delifrance's chicken pie since young for its buttery, flaky crust. Me too!
I grew up on Delifrance sandwiches & tarts. Standard order of chicken/egg mayo croissant sandwich plus peach/fruit tart. Their tarts must have started me young haha. They used to be dotted all over the island but sadly they have since closed so many outlets.
Surprisingly, their plain butter croissants are one of the best around.
Daniel! You are so good at digging out such good deals! I'm amazed :D Haha since Ice had made her claim.. I'm proud to say that i grew up on Delifrance's tuna puff! I love both its taste and smell! :))
ice: Haha, the other chicken pie I love is Sweet Secrets', pity that they dun have many outlets around.
I bought their frozen pre-baked packs before, somehow it just tasted different from the stores. I think they are changing their marketing strategy, the newer bistros look more atas now.. haha
Charlene: Childhood habits do grow on us eh! Haha this is actually my 2nd time going for the buffet, the first time was more than 1 year ago, when they didnt have the hot items yet, so its more worhty now with the same pricing!
what happened to your blog ice? i haven't been able to access it for months! i'm a huge fan of yours , miss your blog dearly
Hi, may I know does this apply to all Delifrance outlet? cos I heard its only available at Bishan's branch. not sure though. And doe the buffect entitles you to selected menu or anything we want? thanks1! :)
Hi! It used to be available at a few selected outlets, but Delifrance has revamped their website and I can't find the information anymore. The buffet only entitles you to all that is on display at the counters.
Again, it had been quite awhile since this post was written so I'm really not sure if the buffet is in fact, still available.
Hope that helps!
My Apologies! I just rechecked the website (5th rotating banner on homepage) and yes, the breakfast buffet is still available at bishan, tampines mall and lot one! =)
Delifrance has revamped and opening back more outlets in Singapore...
Hi! Yup I guess they are revamping their image with the new outlets!
