Rocky Master: A Chilling Lunch Break!

When working in Fusionopolis, lunch breaks on casual Fridays tend to be more elaborated as everyone senses the weekend coming! Craving for something different apart from the usual hawkers and food courts, we took a little trip down to Rocky Master!

A mere 5 minutes shuttle bus ride away, Biopolis played host to numerous restaurants and eateries, all of which were pretty crowded during lunchtime. Thankfully, turnover at Rocky Master was rather fast, as we managed to get seats after awhile of pondering over its mostly western menu!

Lemonade ($2.50), Mushroom Soup

The juice was way too sour for me, until I felt numbness and salivating after the first mouthful! Didn’t try the soup, but it looked staple with pieces of garlic toasts.

Vegetarian Briyani, Hawaiian Pizza

A colleague ordered the briyani and she was loving every bit of it! The pizza looked good with the oozing cheese, though I admit that I have been too spoilt by thin crust Italian pizzas to choose a doughy one myself!

Baked Lasagne, Minced Chicken Patty with Pita Bread

More orders by other colleagues! No complaints there, but the chips that came with the bread tasted pretty out-of-a-can, fries would be a nicer option!

Al Fungi Penne ($7.00), Chicken Pie ($5.50)

As I'm writing this, I still can't figure out why did I go Vegetarian that day. Must be a creamy mushroom craving! Penne was nicely cooked while the sauce didn't overwhelmed even at the end. Paired with potato salad, the pie's cream filling was a little watery but still acceptable.

Not much surprises with the type and quality of dishes here, but still decent enough for a lively chat for the impending weekend. If only I got more time to try the other eateries!
