SQ Bangkok - Singapore: Dinner onboard!

I'm back from a fantastic short getaway in Bangkok, with the return flight delayed for about 2 hours as an ill passenger had to be whisked off just before takeoff. Nonetheless, I was looking forward to dinner! (which became supper actually)

Pork Curry with Rice and Silkgourd Egg

None of the Thai curry I had on this trip was disappointing, including this one! Lean meat similar to the outbound flight was used, with the rich savoury red curry a delight to mix with the piping hot rice. The familiar zichar taste of silkgourd and egg were very homely too!

Baked Fish with Potatoes and Vegetable Stew

Tasted rubbery, though I believe they had no choice but to thoroughly cook it for hygiene precautions. Potatoes were much better this round with a buttery herb taste, while the stew was limp and watery.

Strawberry.. Something

This one had an identity crisis, not sure if it was cake or custard or what, too sour for my liking anyway. And nope, no ice cream this time!

By the way, my backlogs are mounting so much that by the time I finish covering my Taiwan trip (yes I still have more!), the local write-ups will make their way to the museum already. And yet I feel that there really are so many things to share! So I shall jumble up the sequence and switch between local and overseas posts!

Haha, I'm trying to clear the other entries first! But I can assure you that BKK eats were really good!
